Field Trips
Concord, NH (State House and Supreme Court)
When we got on the bus, we all felt a massive heatwave explode. Aka it was sooooooo hot that we opened every signal window possible! Then when we finally got there we were practically dying!!! But when we saw the golden eagle on to of the NH state house, we were better. We parked o few blocks away and walked to the entrance. Then we waited on the front lawn. We studied all the statues and sculptures before going inside. When our tour guide came out she told us that we will have to be quiet because of the people working. When we got to go inside, we stood in a room of many flags. We stayed in there for a couple minutes, then we started our tour throughout the building. First we saw a room that had 400 seats in it. It was the place were people vote on things that help out state. We even got to sit in in the seats! Then we went to another room with a bunch of comfy chairs in it! We also got to sit in those! Then we went to see the Governor. He was at a meeting. Then we took a bus ride to a park to eat lunch and get some fresh air. After that we went into the supreme court! All of the judges were at the same meeting as the Governor!!! Booooooooo :( :( So an other person took us on a tour. Now the dreaded trip back to school. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! The heeeeeeaatttttt, the humidity, the sun, not the bus, please, not the bus, Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! Finally, we got back alive, (barley.) Great trip!

Dr. Chen's Office
On Friday November 19, 2010 my class and I went to visit
Dr.Chen. He was very nice. His office had a fireplace and a physical
therapy room with weighted balls and machines that helped patients heal
after surgery. My favorite part of the visit was that I got to see what
it was like to get a cast put on a forearm. My least favorite part was
that we didn't get to be in the room when Mr.Ferguson got an x-ray of
his knee. The most interesting thing I learned was that a fracture and a
break really mean the same thing! I was impressed that the nurses
could make a better cast than Dr. Chen did. But, I guess that's because
they do it a lot more than Dr. Chen, because he does more difficult
procedures. I would recommend a visit to the Alpine Clinic! I really
loved the visit!
